Martin is working on a new track in his studio. At the same time, he is awaiting the first sales report after signing up with CD Baby for worldwide digital distribution of his two singles titled «Magnanimous» and «Star Odyssey». After investing lots of time and funds in studio equipment and instruments over quite some years, Martin is dependant on a certain sale to continue his musical adventure. It goes without saying that without funds coming in, Martin’s music production will stop. Sadly, that’s just the way it is.

I’ve closed down my webshop due to the fact that all my music will now be distributed via CD Baby. Magnanimous is ready to be bought in CD Baby’s own shop or in major digital distribution shops such as iTunes, amazon.com, Verizon wireless and more. Another single is on its way, Star Odyssey, recorded and mixed in glorious 24 bit and 96 kHz! It features some new sounds and a newly composed ending theme.

Martin working on iTunes single

Martin has been busy in his studio lately, upgrading his DAW as well as working on a single for release on the popular digital distribution platform iTunes.

He explains: «Although my old hardware was good enough for 24 bit/48 kHz recording, I decided that my music, with all its rich and full synthesizer sounds, needed to be sampled or recorded at higher audio quality levels. My new single is being created in 24 bit and 96 kHz, and the end result sounds satisfying for me and in line with what I want to convey to the listener.»

The new DAW features an i7 processor from Intel, ready for overclock up to 4 GHz, and 16 GB RAM.

The new single should be ready for release in February.

Emotions EP to be released soon

Martin Tarnley will release an EP titled Emotions some time in the coming weeks. The EP will be a digital download exclusively available from this site, featuring four compositions from Martin’s upcoming album.

The EP will be available in both M4A and MP3 formats. Expect a price of $4. Please note that there will be no automatic shop, all orders placed will be handled via PayPal and processed manually. Shoppers can expect to receive download links via e-mail within 48 hours after order placement.

If you want to listen to the EP now you can download the preview pack which features full-length songs but in low resolution and mono quality.
